Today’s Cubs game was definitely an up-and-down one, as the Cubs and Reds both equally did keep the pressure on each other with a lot of runs. It was definitely a tense one for both teams though, pitching definitely was a factor in this one. Riggleman definitely did try to keep the pressure on the Cubs by using all of his best pitchers like Hughes, Lorenzen, and Hernandez. Maddon tried to counter with basically his whole pen, using guys like Strop, Edwards Jr., Wilson, and Cishek for less than an inning.
Today, instead of making an article, I’m debuting my new audio article or podcast I guess called the Enthusiast’s Postgame. Here I will just generally give my thoughts on the game and talk about some of the players’ performances and my concerns and positives going for the future. I hope you guys enjoyed, if you do then I will definitely try to do this a lot more.
